With Devine's partner since high school Candace, they are also raising budding stars in Destyni, Noel Jr. And he is not just sitting there watching it happen — Devine is volunteering as an assistant coach for the North football team and coaches for the Cape Junior Football League. Devine described it as an amazing feeling to be able to help out the young players who were in his shoes and are looking for answers.

Despite his accomplishments with the Mountaineers, Devine was not drafted, and a career in the NFL was not meant to be. He signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, but fumbling issues and injuries closed that chapter quickly.
Now, Devine owns and runs DevineSpeed LLC, a speed training business where he trains numerous athletes from different sports. He also works as a substitute teacher in North Fort Myers and as a guest teacher in the Lee Court District, and works as an assistant football coach where he became an internet sensation, at North Fort Myers High.
The other is daughter Desirae 16 , who is a softball star, according to Devine. He has three other children, Destyni 13 , Noel Jr. Watching them is my biggest joy in the world. To see them walk in their footsteps and carry the Devine legacy — the torch — is amazing and wonderful. Watching them is like deja vu. I watch my son and I see some of the same moves, does some of the same steps down the sideline that I did.
When he gets the ball you can hear the people take a deep breath. Now I can relate. Devine believes he got his athletic ability from him. I piece all the pieces together and eventually I will learn more.
He grew close to his mother, but it her addiction to crack cocaine continued to get worse until she died. All of this, of course, left a lasting mark on Devine.
